At the corner of 3rd Avenue and 60th street in Manhattan lives Brasserie 360.
Many of our guests and friends, who love our warm inviting Manhattan Brasserie, have asked us how we arrived at the name Brasserie 360.
This is a question we usually answer in two parts. First, let us define “Brasserie.” A Brasserie usually is a café doubling as a restaurant with a relaxed setting, which serves single dishes and other meals. Here, like most other brasseries, you can expect to have professional service and printed menus (unlike a bistro which may have neither). A Brasserie has more informal eating hours than a full-fledged restaurant.
Now for the 360 part of our name, the “360” has as much to do with our location as it does with our cuisine. We are located in Manhattan at 3rd Avenue and 60th Street—hence “360”. Our address is literally in our name, and that’s only half of the 360 story. We pride ourselves on choosing some of the best dishes from around the world, as in 360 degrees. A few of our ”360” international dishes include Steak Frites, Seared Ahi Tuna, Saffron Seafood Rissoto, Tuna Tartar, and Wasabi Whipped Avocado.
At Brasserie 360—like most Brasseries—we’re open every day of the week and have a well stocked bar, fine wine list, and choice international and domestic beers on tap.
Now that you have learned about our name, come join us to see what is behind our fame.
